Youth/Junior Cheer Camp
Beginner to Intermediate Summer Cheer Camp for ages 5-9 (youth) or 10 to 14 (junior). Camp will focus on all aspects of Cheerleading including: Motions, jumps, basic tumbling, dance & stunting. Please have your camper bring a drink and a snack! Bring your cameras on Friday! Athletes will showcase what they’ve learned during the week!
Introduction to Tumbling Camp
Introduction to Tumbling Camp is designed for the beginner athlete with little to no formal experience. Proper warmup progressions will lead the beginner tumbler into a series of exercises, drills and stretches. Activities for hand/eye coordination, body awareness and general dexterity will aid in the tumblers ability to adapt to new tumbling skills. Tumblers will then be introduced (often times with assistance) to skills such as forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, bridges, backbends, kickovers, limbers, back/front walkovers and more. All of this will be done with the aid of experienced instructors with new and fun state of the art tumbling equipment. Please have your camper bring a drink and a snack! Bring your cameras on Friday! Athletes will showcase what they’ve learned during the week!
Middle School Tryout Prep Camp
For rising 6th, 7th or 8th graders trying out for middle school. Cheerleaders will go through a 2-3 day tryout process with mock tryout at the end of camp! Understand and practice the key aspects of cheerleading that middle schools will be looking at when selecting their squads at tryouts. Get the edge at your tryout!
Hip Hop Camp
Focuses on Hip Hop technique and execution. Will incorporate different genres and styles such as old school, krumping, jazz, funk, breaking, west coast and other current hip hop trends. Campers will be split into groups based on ages and skill level as necessary. Please have your camper bring a drink and a snack! Bring your cameras on Friday! Athletes will showcase the 5 dances they’ve learned during the week!
